X-STK Terms & Conditions

X-STK Pricing
The prices shown within X-STK are in pounds Sterling and are subject to VAT. They do not include the costs of packaging and delivery. For customers that have credit accounts with our company it is possible that we have in place special pricing arrangements on certain items. If this is the case the special prices will over-ride the X-Stk prices shown. The prices shown within X-STK are applicable at the time of your viewing. Should there be a price change between the time of your viewing and the placing of your order, you will be notified before the order is processed. It is not our intention to change the X-STK prices frequently but we do however reserve the right from time to time to modify the prices.

Methods of Payment
There are a number of methods by which you may make payment for goods.

Credit Account
You may already have with us a credit account facility with our company in which case your normal account agreements apply, if however you do not at this time have an account you can make an application either by contacting us on 0845 2266 456, or you can download an application form using the link below.

Credit Card Payment
You can make payments for goods against a credit card.
Proforma
We will accept and process your order up to the point of making it ready for dispatch, we will then seek payment against a proforma invoice and on receipt of cleared funds release the goods.

Payment Terms
The goods will remain the property of Applied Automation (UK) Ltd until paid in full.

Delivery Charges
All of our goods are shipped on a “next working day” basis. On request we can arrange a timed delivery before 10.00 AM or a Saturday AM delivery.

The delivery charges that will apply are:

Next Working Day £7.50
Before 10:00 Next Working Day £20
Saturday AM Delivery £35

For orders over £500 we will deduct £7.50 from the carriage charge.

Delivery Commitment
The stock availability shown within X-Stk is accurate at the time of your viewing.

In the unlikely event that the stock levels have changed by the time we receive your formal order and only if full satisfaction of the order from stock is not possible, we will contact you either by telephone or e-mail and advise you of the position, the likely delivery date for the balance of the goods and seek your approval before this item on the order is processed.

It is possible to place an order for goods that exceed are stock levels. In this instance, upon receipt of your order we will advise you either by telephone, fax or e-mail of the anticipated lead time on the balance of the goods and seek your approval before the relevant item is processed.

Any orders received up to 4:00 PM on a normal working day will be processed that same day and dispatched overnight. For orders placed outside of our office hours we will process and ship during the next working day.

No responsibility will be accepted by Applied Automation (UK) Limited for any delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include strikes, terrorist acts, war, natural disasters supplier, transport and production problems.

Damage or loss in transit
Applied Automation at its discretion will refund, replace or repair any products that are proved to our satisfaction to have been lost or damaged in transit up to the point of delivery. Any damages must be reported in writing within three days of receipt of the product.

Acceptance
When you receive a product, you must inspect it for any defects or non-conformity within 7 days. After that point you will be deemed to have accepted the item. If Applied Automation (UK) Limited agrees to the return of goods, they must be in the original condition with packaging, returns note and proof of purchase; the return costs may also be payable by you.

Warranty
Products which are found to our satisfaction to be defective as a result of faulty design, manufacture or workmanship will be at our sole discretion be replaced free of charge provided that: 1) The products with alleged defects are returned properly (packaged correctly and postage paid for) within 12 months from the date of delivery 2) The products have not been misused, mishandled, overlooked or amended in any way or used for any other purpose other than that which they are designed for.

Liability
Unless specifically agreed Applied Automation (UK) Ltd does not warrant that the products are suitable for any particular application.

Applied Automation (UK) Ltd shall not be under the liability for any contingent or consequential loss, damage or injury to the customer howsoever arising.

Applied Automation (UK) Ltd shall not be under any liability for infringement arising from the combination of the product with items not supplied by us.

Subject to the above clause, in the event of the company being found liable for any loss or damage arising out of the products, its total liability shall not under any circumstances exceed, for any breach or breaches the purchase price of the product.

Office Hours
Our offices are open Monday to Friday from 08.00 hours until 17.00 hours.
